Special holiday

Today is dh last day at work before he takes a 2 week break with us. We are going to scrap all formal learning while he is at home and potter around the house together as well as take a few special outings.

The first special outing will happen tonight. Daddy and the 2 older boys are meeting ds10 rugby team to go on a bus trip to Eden Park stadium. Ds10 team is playing in a starting match against another junior club team as a prequel to the big game tonight.

They then have free tickets for the team to watch the Blues verses Warratahs game. They will all return via bus to the rugby club before heading home. It will be a late night for the boys as they are not expected to get home until after 10pm so no doubt we will all suffer for their fun tomorrow.



Meanwhile Dd7 and I will be having a girly movie night. We are keeping our fingers crossed that BabyR will want to go to bed early tonight as he tends to be rather a big distraction on movie nights.

We are so excited about having my Dh home with us for 2 weeks as we have been patiently waiting so long to spend some extended quality time with him.
